Upper Dave's Dummy Race
Apr 2, 2018 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
April 2
2pm
While our usual mode of descent at Crabbe Mountain is a graceful carve, we're changing it up and will be throwing people down Upper Daves this Sunday.
What's that you say, we can't throw people down the mountain? Well build yourself a dummy and let them take the brunt of the fall. Put your new friend on skis or a board, and let them ride. The winning dummy will arrive at the bottom in one piece, and the fastest. Get creative, get fast, and get ready.

For safety reasons, metal bracing or metal weights may not be used in dummies. Acceptable construction materials include wood, plastic, wire, tape, foam rubber, vinyl, cardboard or plastic tubing. Weight and ballast can be provided with sand or other non-hazardous materials. Dummies may not exceed 40 pounds in weight, 6 feet in height or 36 inches in width of stance. Smoke effects are acceptable but nothing that can catch fire.
This event is FREE, and the winner gets the pride of a job well done, as well as the safety of not being the one thrown down Upper Daves. After the race, it is the responsibility of the owner to remove and dispose of their dummy.
**Dummies may not be living or breathing.
