Crabbe Mountain Uphill Travel Policy
Crabbe Mountain welcomes uphill travelers who wish to skin, hike, or snowshoe during designated times and under approved conditions. Your safety and the safety of our staff and guests is our top priority. To participate in uphill travel at Crabbe Mountain, all users must meet the requirements of our Uphill Policy

Trails are not groomed for uphill use and conditions maybe natural and variable. Uphill travel is permitted by skins or split board during posted operating hours only on the following designated routes:
- Dineen’s Ravine (Family Trail) -- CLOSED
- Greg’s Way -- CLOSED
- Dave’s Dream -- OPEN
- Rockstar Terrain Park -- CLOSED
- The Glades --CLOSED
Travel outside of these routes is not permitted.
Access Requirements
To access uphill travel at Crabbe Mountain, one of the following is required:
A valid season pass, or a Uphill Pass, which must be purchased prior to accessing uphill routes
Uphill access is subject to closure at any time due to weather, snowmaking, grooming, events, or safety concerns.
How to Get Your Uphill Pass
- Purchase your Uphill Pass in person at the ticket counter
- Review and agree to the Uphill Policy
- Ensure your waiver is completed
- Access only the designated uphill routes listed as OPEN
Uphill Travel Rules & Safety
Uphill travelers must remain visible to downhill skier and rider traffic at all times
- You must ensure that you remain visible at all times to downhill skier traffic, and stick to the sides of trails when climbing.
- Yield to all downhill traffic and resort operations
- Headlamps or lights may be required during low-visibility conditions
- Headphones are discouraged to ensure awareness of surroundings
Failure to follow uphill policies may result in loss of uphill privileges without refund.
Important Notes
- Uphill travel does not guarantee downhill access
- Trails may close without notice
- Natural hazards exist, including ice, thin cover, and equipment operations
- Crabbe Mountain assumes no responsibility for injuries resulting from failure to follow posted policies
