Wednesday After School Program
For Grade 4 & 5 Students
Join friends and certified Crabbe Mountain instructors for six weeks of skill development, learning, and fun on the slopes!
Now open to ALL elementary school students in the Fredericton Area.

Wednesday After School Program Information
Dates: January 7 – February 11, 2026
Cancellation Dates: February 18 & 25, 2026
* If both cancellation dates are used, an additional date will be scheduled.
Cost: $395 + hst
What's Included:
- Ski/snowboard rental, helmet (mandatory), and lift ticket
- 2 hours of instruction per week
- Supervised bussing to and from Crabbe Mountain
*Please note discounts are not available for students with a season pass or their own equipment.
Pick-Up Details *NEW THIS YEAR*
*Please note that Parents/Guardians are responsible to arrange for their child to meet supervisors at their designated pick up locations.
Northside Pickup/Drop Off Location: Brookside Mall (Service New Brunswick Parking Lot)
Southside Pickup/Drop Off Location: Fredericton Exhibition Centre Parking Lot
Please see program schedule for bus pick up and drop off times.
Supervision is provided on the bus to and from Crabbe Mountain.
PROGRAM SCHEDULE
2:40pm to 3:00pm - Pick up children at designated locations
3:00pm - Leave Fredericton to travel up to Crabbe Mountain
3:45pm-4:20pm - Arrival & Suppertime
4:20pm to 4:30pm - Get geared up and ready for lessons.
4:30pm to 6:30pm - Instructional time
6:30pm to 7:00pm - Bring rental gear back to lodge, Snack Break
7:00pm - Bus leaves Crabbe Mountain to travel back to Fredericton.
7:45pm to 8:00pm - Arrival and Parent pick up at designated locations.

Thursday After School Program
For Grade 6 - 8 Students
This NEW after school program offers 4 evenings of ski/snowboard instruction for middle school age students that are looking to get out, socialize, and have fun while learning how to ski/snowboard, or just to work on their skill development!
This program is open to all middle school students in the Fredericton Area.

Dates: January 8th, 22nd & February 5th, 19th
Cancellation Dates: February 26th, 2026
Cost: $312.50 + hst
Spaces Available: 40

8:20pm - Meet Bus Supervisors at meeting spot to head out to the buses
8:30pm - Bus leaves Crabbe Mountain to travel back to Fredericton
9:15pm-9:30pm - Bus Arrival at Fredericton Exhibition grounds for parent pick up.

What happens if there is a school cancellation?
Afterschool Programs will be canceled on the days that regular school has a cancellation or if road conditions will be poor at the time the buses would be returning to Fredericton.
What should your child bring for the day?
Children need to bring warm snow pants, a good warm winter jacket, ski gloves or mittens, warm dry socks, be dressed in a warm base layer, sweater/vest, neck warmer/balaclava, snow googles, water bottle, and snack for the end of the end.
Will my child have time to have a meal?
With children arriving at Crabbe Mountain at dinner time, we set a scheduled time to give children time to eat before heading out to their lessons.
Staff is currently working on creating meal plan options and that will be emailed to parents before the program starts. Please note that this will be at an extra cost.
What do I need to do if someone else is picking up my child?
If your child is being pick up by someone else, please email a notificiaton to the snow school director that morning to ensure that the bus supervisors will receive that information before the program begins.
If my child can't attend one of the lessons, can I get a refund?
Refunds are not available if your child misses a day, or is unable to participate in cancellation dates.
