Invest in Crabbe

Help shape Crabbe Mountain’s next chapter.

A four-season mountain, built together.

Generations of families, staff, volunteers and shareholders have made Crabbe what it is. The next chapter is growing Crabbe into a four-season mountain, and we are inviting existing shareholders, new shareholders and business partners to help build it.

Community

Built by the people who love it.

Crabbe has never been a resort owned from far away. Local shareholders stepped in to keep it going in 2015, and every season since has been carried by the same kind of people: the instructor teaching a six-year-old their first turns, the crew making snow before dawn, the chalet neighbours and volunteers who show up when it matters, the families who learned here and now bring their own kids.

That community is the mountain’s greatest asset, and the reason the next chapter is worth building.

Progress

Built together. Moving forward.

Recent investment in the hill, and what each piece does for a day at Crabbe.

  1. 2023

The lodge, with three times the space for guests

Accessible washrooms, event space, more seating and better food service. Opened in time to host the Canada Winter Games.

  2. 2024

    New chairlift motor and drive

More reliable lift days now, and the foundation for running the lift beyond winter.

  3. 2025

    New mountain-bike trail

A trail by Kodiak Trail Works for the Into the Gnar experience, with the summer bike event growing alongside it.

  4. 2026

Snowmaking pumps and variable frequency drive

The pumps are fully refurbished and a variable frequency drive installed, restoring capacity, giving the crew finer control and cutting energy use. Internet and WiFi upgrades across the hill come with it.

    Beginner-friendly bike trails

Built with River Valley Cycling and Kodiak Trail Works as the first phase of a multi-ability trail network.

    Five-year partnership with MCFT

Maritime College of Forest Technology students gain hands-on experience while supporting forest and trail management on the hill. The lodge also hosted its first wedding this year.

Vision

Where the mountain is headed.

The priority is a stronger winter. From there, we want to give people more reasons to visit the mountain in spring, summer and fall.

  1. 01

    Strengthen winter

The snowmaking, lifts and facilities that make a day at Crabbe possible.

  2. 02

    Welcome the next generation

The lessons, programs and experiences that help people find their place on the mountain.

  3. 03

    Grow beyond the snow

More reasons to visit through the year, starting with summer mountain biking and building on the landscape, the lodge and the outdoor community already here.

Work on the summer mountain-bike trails is underway. The rest sets the direction, and we share specific projects with shareholders and prospective investors as they are confirmed.

Take part

Two ways in.

Become a shareholder

Crabbe is backed by people who believe in its future. Prospective shareholders can learn where the mountain stands today, where it is headed and the role shareholders play, then decide whether it is the right fit.

Partner with the mountain

A four-season Crabbe would make room for partners in hospitality, events, outdoor recreation and local making. If you see a place for your business in that picture, we would like to hear about it.
