Temperatures may seem above normal lately but we are still thinking snow here at Crabbe Mountain. Opening day is just around the corner and you’ll be skiing and snowboarding before you know it! Speaking of snow, our brand new PRINOTH BR-350S Snow Groomer arrived from the factory on Monday morning. We can’t wait to lay down some fresh corduroy snow with this new machine! Be sure to check out the new BR-350S in front of the lodge when you’re at the Open House this weekend. 1pm-4pm in the Thirsty Boot Lounge. We’re also having a One Day Season Pass Sale on Saturday and you can even fill out a ballot to win a 09/10 Crabbe Season Pass. See details below. See you Saturday.

Open House After Party
Staying up at the chalet for the weekend of the open house? If so, join us for the Open House After Party in The Thirsty Boot Lounge starting at 6pm. Ski movies on the projector screen. Should be a good time!

Glade Thinning This Sunday
This Sunday, Crabbe Mountain will be a busy spot, the Ski Patrol will be up here training for the upcoming season and a crew of us will be spending the day glade thinning. Volunteers are definitely welcome. If you’d like to help out… dig out your thinning saws, pruning shears, safety equipment and email Jason at gm@crabbemountain.com Meet at the Ticket Office at 9am.

Crabbe Mountain Stocking Stuffers Available in Fredericton
That’s right, just in time for Christmas, Crabbe Mountain stocking stuffers have begun to land at Fredericton Area Outdoor Stores. Books of 5 lift tickets, individual lift tickets and Super Value Cards are now available at Regent Mall Guest Services, Radical Edge, SkiWolf, Cleve’s and Elusive.

Seasonal Locker Note
Anyone who had a seasonal locker last season and would like to keep it again this season should please call our mountain office 463.8311 ext 221 to arrange payment before Friday, December 18. We’ve already got a long list of skiers & riders keen to rent a locker this year and we’d like to let them know which lockers become available.

3 Day Snow School Christmas Camp December 28-30
Spend the Christmas Holidays at Crabbe Mountain. All ages welcome. Day 2 of the camp includes lunch in the lodge for the kids. Cost: $120, lift ticket and rentals not included. Pre-registration required. Call Todd Ryder, Snow School Director 463-8311 ext 225 or email snowschool@crabbemountain.com for info and/or to register.

Also, sign up your kids for our 10 week seasonal programs before December 27th and receive early bird rates on the programs.

December 5 – Rails & Roast Beef Rail Jam III – Beginner Hill. Snowmaking dependant.
December 12 – Scheduled Opening Day – Weather & snow dependant.
